Australian IPTV company secures Samsung global support

Samsung has selected Australian enterprise IPTV application specialist OmniScreen to be part of the exclusive global Samsung Enterprise Alliance Program (SEAP).

Omniscreen is part of the Melbourne-headquartered IPTV solutions provider CombiTel. 

SEAP includes almost 1,000 global partners from small to large and offers a range of benefits including the opportunity to integrate partner technology into Samsung commercial hospitality displays.

SEAP is a program for developers and partners that require tools and resources to help build and distribute the highest quality applications on Samsung mobile devices.  The programme includes marketing and sales resources to assist businesses go to market, or establish a working relationship with Samsung and integrate new technology.

Samsung Electronics Vice President of Enterprise Business, IT & Mobile Division, Rick Segal said that the company aims to reach out directly to partners and developers and make sure they understand all of the opportunities they have to get their applications in front of enterprises around the world. “We have many co-marketing opportunities and things we do directly with our enterprise customers and we will take you along with us so you that you can make money with those enterprise customers,” he said.

For CombiTel MD Eugene Razbash the opportunity to work with Samsung at this critical development level is a breakthrough opportunity. “ We are very fortunate to be part of the   Samsung B2B development programme.

The partnership will open many doors for us and allowing us to integrate our Australian developed technology into the  Samsung commercial hospitality display units is a significant coup,” he said.

The Omniscreen Pilot, enterprise TV application server is suited for many enterprise applications including hospitality, education, aged care and government.
