Integrate returns to Victoria in August

image

Australia’s leading AV and integrated technology trade show, Integrate, is returning to Melbourne, Victoria for its ninth year.

The trade show and conference backed by InfoComm is a meeting ground for local and global technology brands to showcase solutions and products to AV technicians and corporate end users, meet with buyers, integrators and distributors, and celebrate the latest industry developments.

Key issues this year will include exploring the potential of digital signage, the future of retail and case studies on digital signage deployment success stories.

Education is a central focus with sessions exploring the part that 4k and emerging technologies will play in the classrooms of the very near future.

For the first time at Integrate, the InfoComm Networked Application Labs will offer instructor-led discussions that dig into hot topics including the realms of ‘dark arts’ hacking and network traffic analysis.

Each lab will last two hours and allow attendees to experience specific applications, as well as hands-on experience.

Also featured will be an InfoComm Networking breakfast which will allow attendees the opportunity to hear a keynote presentation and participate in peer discussions to develop strategies for coping with challenges faced by women professionals - from career planning and training resources to mentorship opportunities.

InfoComm International has also launched its Oceania regional awards programme. The InfoComm awards programme is a unique opportunity to give AV professionals within Oceania’s AV industry the recognition they deserve for their outstanding contributions, leadership and commitment to excellence. The InfoComm Oceania regional awards winners will be announced and recognised on the first show day at Integrate 2017 in Melbourne (29 August 2017).

The categories include Oceania CTS Holder of the Year Award, Oceania Educator of the Year Award, Oceania Distinguished Achievement Award, Oceania Women in AV Award, Oceania Young AV Professional Award and Oceania Volunteer of the Year Award (winner selected by InfoComm staff).

CombiTel will run private demonstration sessions of their flagship Omniscreen Pilot product as part of an end-to-end enterprise IPTV system.
